Nothing stands still. Accounting’s no different. Over the 20 years we’ve been in business, we’ve seen some big changes – most notably, the evolution of technology and online solutions like Xero and MYOB. They’re changes we’ve embraced enthusiastically and that have helped us provide a consistently high level of service to our customers, wherever in New Zealand they’re based, from our office in Napier.
We’re proud to have been awarded the highest partnership status by both Xero and MYOB as a result of this unrelenting commitment to customer service and customer success. As a Xero Platinum Champion Partner and MYOB Diamond Partner we’re in the top few percent of accountants nationwide.
But for all this change, one thing has remained the same for 20 years. The quality of our people. From day one back in 1999 when we opened our doors as Dataco Easy Accounting (I know, what a mouthful!), we chose to invest in good people, recognising they are, and will always be, our greatest asset.
So if you’d like an expert accounting and business improvement team that moves with the times, but that still recognises the value in good old fashioned customer service and are genuinely good sorts, we should have a natter. Soon.

Kiwitax are Xero Platinum Champions, the highest partnership level for accounting practises. ATAINZ
ATAINZ supports its members and helps to maintain high standards in a variety of ways. They run courses, conferences and seminars to support members’ continuing professional development and ensure we are up to date with developments in tax law. Resources and a specialist advisory service for is provided to members. ATAINZ defines and enforces standards of practice for members. The Accountants and Tax Agents Institute of New Zealand is one of only three organisations granted ‘approved advisor group’ status by the Inland Revenue Department.

At Kiwitax we like to keep it Kiwi. That means employing more Kiwis and keeping your data in New Zealand. We don’t outsource to number crunchers overseas like many other practices do and we’re quite proud of this fact. So much so that we decided to become Buy New Zealand made certified.
Regional Business Partners
The Regional Business Partner Network Capability Voucher Scheme is a government funded scheme designed to boost business capability by providing funding of up to 50% of approved training programs with specified training providers up to a maximum value of $5000. Kiwitax are a registered training provider for Business Improvement services including Growth Planning and Quarterly Coaching.
