As a Kiwitax client, to ensure efficient delivery of your annual accounting work, Kiwitax schedules each clients work via a scheduled date.
The scheduled date is the date we have planned to receive your work by. Typically, your Kiwitax accountant will have accounts completed within 8 weeks from when we have received your checklist and info. This allows time for your Kiwitax accountant to ask questions, get additional files and provide any clarifications about annual accounts.
Clients are sent their scheduled dates via email around the end of March each financial year. An additional reminder email sent at the start of the month that their work is due to be sent in. If for any reason this date doesn’t suit, you can request a different scheduled date via your Kiwitax accountant.
Clients can send their work in earlier than the scheduled date. But be aware that your Kiwitax accountant may not be able to start working on the annual accounts until the scheduled date.
Clients can also request work to be completed on a specific date via your Kiwitax accountant. Please ensure that you send the checklist and files to your Kiwitax accountant at least 8 weeks prior to this date, allowing them sufficient time to complete the work.
If you require your work to be completed during our peak times (April through June), a priority fee of up to $295 + GST may be associated with this. Your Kiwitax accountant will confirm this after receiving the scheduled date form.
